OUR STORY The Carolina Hornets basketball organization, was established in 2001 as a sub-group of the S&S Community Enrichment Foundation. The organization focuses on serving youth of Durham, Granville, Orange, Alamance, and Wake Counties (boy and girls ages 7-17) and their families through athleticism in basketball.
In boosting the youth in their athleticism. We provide support in growth mindset, social-emotional learning, and life skills that will guide them in the competitive realm on and off the court. |
Why We Serve?
Service to us is not about highlight reels and media publications. Our desire is to ensure that the youth of this world are prepared to be productive citizens in this world.
Our organization is comprised of caring adults who serve in a purely voluntary capacity as mentors, and role models. Each want to make the most positive, impact that they can for the youth that they serve.
